3:00 PM: Gary Bale - Dispelling the CSI Myth

Retired Investigative Specialist Homicide, Gary Bale will be our January Forensics Fest speaker. He owns the P.I. firm, Blades Investigations and currently teaches classes in crisis negotiation and CSI.

February 26, 2012 ** Special Time **

2:30 PM: Forensic Fest Crime Panel with Don Lasseter and Steve Scarborough.

Don Lasseter has written twenty published books and more than fifty magazine articles, primarily true-crime stories. His best sellers are Die For Me, a chronicle of horrifying crimes by California serial killer Charles Ng, and Cold Storage. He has also served as a guest lecturer in criminology classes at Cal State Fullerton.

Steve Scarborough is a Forensic Scientist with over 30 years experience in law enforcement with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (yes, home of CSI) and the FBI. He has a B.S. degree in Police Science and has testified in court and presented scientific evidence in almost 300 cases.
